Finding a tools-for-rent store is obviously not as easy to find as a for-sale hardware store.  There's not necessarily a lot of money in tool rentals.  Most contractors and DIY homeowners keep their tools for the long run.  Sometimes a person will rent a garage and the tools that go with it.  A worker may go to a rental store for electronic merchandise or an entire tool box set.  However, at these rental stores most people rent to own, and thus heavy finance charges are applied.
